Bullock’s Oriole
$30.00
Meet the Bullock's oriole, a bird that's so bright and cheerful, it'll make you want to wear shades. With its bold orange, yellow, and black feathers, this bird is definitely a head-turner. The male's got a sleek black eye line, and you can usually find him bouncing around trees and shrubs near water, munching on insects and other tiny treats. This bird's got a pretty cool namesake, William Bullock, and it's a total rockstar in western North America, so don't confuse it with that other oriole from the East. And, fun fact, this particular bird is made of paper, cardboard, and wire, in a 6x4” white shadowbox.
